Prodex Under Concrete Insulation is specifically designed to withstand the weight of a concrete slab and the rigors of foot traffic. Prodex exhibits less than 9% compression in thickness when subjected to loads associated with standard concrete floor systems. (Note: The amount of pressure under a typical four inch concrete slab section is less than one pound per square foot).

With a perm rating of less than 0.1, this class 1 vapor barrier is excels in water protection. It is also ideal for retarding the passing of soil gasses  such as radon into your home. The aluminum sheet at the center also serves to prevents the passing of termites.

Benefits of this product include: Thermal break, durability, moisture resistance, low water vapor transmission, radon resistance, termite resistance and ease of installation.
