Installation Method: Install insulation against the metal beams. Attach it with a metal channel that you screw through insulation. Other attachment systems can also be used. Seal the seams with aluminum tape and leave at least 12" at the perimeter to insure proper ventilation. If applying two layers of Prodex: Attach a ¾ - 1 inch metal furring over first layer of insulation. Attach 2nd layer of insulation to this fur. This will allow for an air-gap between layers of insulation and improve performance. The key is to ensure an air-gap between layers to optimize performance.
