For New Construction:
For Retrofit Application:
Use a combination of glue, tape or screws to attach to side or underside of metal beams. You may install between beams or run opposite direction over beams to avoid having to cut. Tape seams with metal tape. Reflective insulation is most effective when incorporated with a ¾-inch or more airspace on at least the outer side of product. |

Customer Example:
Using this product saved me a considerable amount of money and time. The building erection crew used the foil tape you sent and secured the insulation to the framing, as it was 48" on center. After a few weeks I used a small paint roller (and long handle) to apply pressure to the seams and re-press them down. They are still tight 1 year later. The temperature difference is a good 15 to 20 degrees from the outside air and with my evaporative coolers I am very happy with the results.
Thanks, |
