USE: Prodex Total, Prodex Perforated, Prodex Fast Action,
Foil-Fiberglass-Vinyl (FfgV) OR Foil-Bubble-Foil (FBF)

Installation Method:

Use adhesive caulk or nails to attach furring strips to the wall 16”, 24" or 48” on-centre.
Fasten Prodex Total or Prodex Fast Insulation between or over the studs, stapling every 3" - 4".
Fasten drywall or paneling directly onto the studs if insulation is in the cavity. If insulation is installed on stud, use furring strip/strapping over insulation to create air-gap. Ensure that a 3/4" or so air space is maintained between the insulation and the outer surface to optimize system R-Values.

If applying two layers of Prodex: Attach a ľ - 1 inch furring strip over first layer and attach with staples the 2nd layer to the furring strip. This will allow for an air-gap between layers of insulation and improve performance. It is also acceptable to apply one or two layers or Prodex between the studs or one layer between the stud and the 2nd layer over the rafter. The key is to ensure and air-gap between layers to optimize performance.

Reflective insulation can be used as stand alone or supplement insulation. It depends on the insulation value you're seeking.
