Prodex (New Install) Over Stud: Use Prodex 48 Inch, Fast Action, 10M, 72 InchWhite, Rustic, Reflective Bubble Reflective or Foil Fiberglass Vinyl.

  1. Glue (super metal sealant), Tape double sided tape, staple or screw to affix insulation to wall before installing your studs.
  2. To improve performance, push insulation in to create air-gap (2+ inches). 
  3. Tape seams with reflective tape or use 10M or Prodex Fast Action to avoid seam tape.
  4. Attach your drywall (optional)

One Layer Under Stud: Use Prodex 48 Inch, Fast Action10M, White, Rustic or 72 Inch.

1. Screw, staple or glue (super metal sealant) insulation to underside of purlins. Gluing the insulation improves appearance.

Two Layers Over/Under Stud: Use Prodex 48 Inch, Fast Action10M, White, Rustic or 72 Inch.

  1. Glue (super metal sealant), Tape (double sided tape), staple or screw to affix insulation to wall before installing your studs.

  4. Roll insulation perpendicular to and over studs.
  5. Tape seams with reflective tape or use 10M or Prodex Fast Action to avoid seam tape.
  6. Screw, staple or glue (super metal sealant) insulation to underside of purlins. Gluing the insulation improves appearance.

Two Layers - One Layer Between and One Layer Under Studs: Use Prodex 48 Inch, Fast Action, 10M, 72 Inch, White, Rustic and 24 Inch  or 16 Inch.

  1. Depending on your stud spacing, staple one layer of Prodex 24 Inch or 16 Inch insulation between studs.
  2. Staple, screw or glue (super metal sealant) larger roll (Prodex 48 Inch, Fast Action, 10M, 72 InchWhite, Rustic insulation to underside of studs. Gluing the insulation improves appearance.

One Layer Under Stud plus Drywall : Use Prodex 48 Inch, Fast Action, 10M or 72 Inch

  1. Staple, screw or glue (super metal sealant) Prodex 48 Inch, Fast Action, 10M, 72 Inch insulation to underside of studs. 
  2. Push insulation into cavity to create 2+ inch air-gap.
  3. Attach drywall.
 

One Layer Between Studs: Use 24 Inch or 16 Inch.

  1. Depending on your stud spacing, staple one layer of Prodex 24 Inch or 16 Inch insulation between studs.
