Prodex Total has a high quality core that keeps its shape when exposed to forces. Prodex Total 5M plus has a nominal thickness of 5mm (0.2"). Prodex Total 10M is 10mm (0.4"). Both are closed cell polyethylen foam covered on both sides with reflective reinforced foil facing. Under pressure, the Prodex micro-cells do not collapse -- With a pressure of 6 PSI Prodex compresses just 6%. When the load is relieved it takes back its initial shape. The density of the foam is between 1.25 lb/ft (sq) - 1.87 lb/ft (sq). This gives the material real body.
Because bubble insulation has a core composed of air rather than closed cell polyethylene foam, it lacks the long-term consistency in performance of Prodex Total Insulation.
Bubble wraps are composed of either one (single bubble) or two (double bubble) layers of air bubbles sandwiched between two metalized surfaces. Once the surface of single or double bubble is punctured, it collapses.
Foil only radiant barriers are typically perforated and composed of two metalized surfaces with a mesh woven in for strength. It is not a vapor barrier - It is not insulation. Because foil only products have no membrane (substance between the layers of reflective material) transference of heat and or cold can occur.

- Don't be fooled by a company that boasts "Free Shipping". - All costs are built into the price you pay. We itemize your costs for you to see the actual shipping costs. The bottom line is our delivered price is better than ANY insulation that matches our specifications - Period!
All orders are final. To speed up delivery, processing of your order is immediate. Labels are printed instantly and orders can be loaded on to trucks immediately. We are not able to cancel or modify an order once loaded onto a truck because it is almost impossible to find your insulation rolls on a truck full of identical insulation rolls. These are OVERSIZED shipping items. Our pricing structure does not include the costs of return shipping and administrative fees associated with return requests.

When Do orders Ship? LTL shipments (341 sq. ft. or more) typically ship within a day and arrive in 2 to 10 business days. FedEx orders (less than 341 sq. ft.) typically ship same day and arrive in 1-4 business days.
Our website allows you to enter a different shipping address to you billing address.
Customer pick-ups are allowed for orders of $260 or more. The website will offer you this option if your order qualifies. The selection box will be on the same page where you select your payment method. You'll receive an email when the order is ready, with a bar code, available pick up times, and warehouse address.
Yes we ship to Canada. Delivery typically takes about 2 weeks.
